'Chele', our Lucca house for 08 and 09, is a recent restoration of farm buildings in the countryside just north of Lucca.  Sitting high on a hill among the olive groves, the dominant view is straight down the valley at the walls of Lucca itself.  In fact, one of the most interesting aspects of the 'Chele' is that it is so close to town and the major 'autostrada' junctions, but still feels a million miles away. The farmhouse interior offers terra cotta floors and exposed beams, with some delightful touches in each of the room. All five guest bedrooms are a good size and with 'en suite' bathrooms.
