We are pleased to announce that Papillon will be returning to two of  our favourite and most popular destinations in 08, the Basque Country and Lucca

We will be running our Basque season a little later in the year, starting in June, to catch the better weather and because many of our guests have enquired about  Papillon Tours with children/grandchildren once the Institutes are out.  Our flexibility with two minibuses and a large staff suits well those  who would like to travel with their kids and still have a vacation!

The Basque Country has proven to be one of our  most requested destinations.  We are returning in Spring 08 purely by popular demand.  But we must say that the region is one of our favourites, too.  With three cultures, fantastic cuisine, the mountains and the sea, and an amazing variety of interesting things to do and see in such  close range, it is the ideal Papillon spot!

We will run our Lucca weeks in September and October  - the choice  months in Tuscany.  It was our very first destination and still  our  most popular.  As well as the town itself the location is ideal close  to both Florence and the spectacular Ligurian coastline - one of the 
reasons Jamie moved there five years ago.  Our contacts have allowed  us to get a real insiders' view of the Tuscan life both in the  vineyard and at the Villa!

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE

It happens more often than you might imagine: last minute changes in plans that lead to trip cancellations.  While we have always strongly recommended 'trip-cancellation insurance', we regularly have guests who, for an incredibly diverse number of reasons, are forced to cancel their trip, and who have no coverage. While we do our best to accommodate each situation, naturally, we cannot be as flexible as many situations demand.

For this reason, we want to stress again the importance of 'trip cancellation insurance'.
